Lying Under Oath. Isn't That "Perjury"?

S'pose Mr. Chisholm's paying attention to the trial?

Former Milwaukee County Board Chairwoman Karen Ordinans admitted Thursday that she knew the backdrop pension benefit would carry a significant price tag before she voted for the 2000-'01 wage and benefit package for the county's largest union.

Ordinans has said for years that she thought the backdrop would add no new costs to the county. On the witness stand Thursday at the county pension scandal trial, she acknowledged that her earlier statements - in sworn depositions, pre-trial testimony and numerous media interviews - were inaccurate.

Hmmmm. "Sworn depositions" vs. "sworn testimony."

Let's see if the Animal Farm rules apply. You remember; some are 'more equal' than others...
