Romney Shows His Class

Reported by Politico:

In the latest instance of a high-profile GOP member taking a passing swipe at the party's 2008 vice-presidential candidate, former Massachusetts Governor and GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney jokingly dismissed Sarah Palin’s inclusion on Time’s list of influential people in an interview broadcast Sunday.

He asked, was “the issue on the most beautiful people or the most influential people?”

Now you know why Romney left the Midwest for Massachusetts. "Influential people" are on the East Coast, you know.

Don't forget that Romney is not first on the list for conservatives. In order for him to win in 2012 he will need to look "less worse" than the next person i.e. McCain and get conservatives ousted. I doubt he can look "less worse" than Palin so he needs to get her out.
