If You Think Walker's Plan is All Wisconsin Needs...

Then you better think again.

The Pew Center, a mid-road group, did a little research. While the Wisconsin state employee pension fund is in decent shape (only short $250 million in assets compared to total liabilities), the HEALTH-care fund (for State retirees) is in bad shape.

About $1.7 billion of 'bad shape.'

And these numbers were taken 6/30/08, before the market dump of 2009...

See all the numbers here. What's kinda scary is that Wisconsin is---relatively speaking---fine and dandy compared to other States (and the Feds, of course.)

But it's a crisis, and Walker needs more power right now to fix it!
